Santa Rosa Junior College is a public college and one of the premier community colleges in the United States. It was founded in 1918 and is the 10th oldest public community college in California. There are two campuses, a college farm, a culinary arts restaurant/bakery, health sciences facility, and a child care center. Over 100 majors and over 150 certificates are offered. With over 27,000 students at SRJC, only 130 are international. This allows the international students to receive much more individualized attention - our emphasis is on personal care and exceptional student services; a counselor will email, Skype, or call students before they arrive at SRJC to develop an educational plan. International students qualify to apply for college scholarships.
