Institut de Touraine is a higher education institution, founded in 1912, specialized in teaching French language and culture and teachers’ training. In 2015, Institut de Touraine renewed the "Quality FLE" label with the highest marks – the guarantee of top quality school for our students and partners. The Institut is located in Tours city, a safe and pleasant city (300.000 inhabitants) only one hour away from Paris by train, in the spectacular Loire Valley (UNESCO World Heritage list). Our course offer has been entirely redesigned in 2015. With a faculty of 20 full-time teachers, the Institut offers a wide range of French language courses: intensive (22h30) or standard (15h), mini-groups (15h or 25h, 5 students max), French for specific purpose (business, legal, medical, etc.) private tuition and teacher’s training programs. We organize tailor-made courses for high schools, colleges and universities. The school operates under the pedagogical supervision of the University of Tours. It is a certified exam center for DELF, DALF exams. The Institut provides all types of accommodation and extra-curricular activities (excursions, social and cultural program, volunteering, etc.). French courses all year long for everyone. The Institut de Touraine offers French courses adapted to all profiles: student or adults, whatever your level (from beginner to advanced), your needs (for work, for your studies or for pleasure) and the length of your stay. The various programs offered include: intensive courses, or morning courses, small groups, group language stays, training for French teachers… The Institut is an exam center for the DELF and DALF. You can finish your course by taking an official French exam. During your stay, take advantage of our library, multimedia library and online learning platform to improve and practice your French after class. The teachers are available in the resource center to help you during your stay.
