Hawai’i Pacific University (HPU) is an international learning community set in the rich cultural context of Hawai’i. Students from all 50 states and more than 80 countries join us for an American education built on a liberal arts foundation. With a student/faculty ratio of 18:1, students experience teaching excellence and individualized attention in more than 60 innovative undergraduate and graduate fields of study. Our innovative undergraduate and graduate programs anticipate the changing needs of the community and prepare our graduates to live, work, and learn as active members of a global society. With three campuses linked by shuttle, HPU combines the excitement of a downtown Honolulu campus with the serenity of a residential campus set in the green foothills of the Ko’olau Mountains and the research facilities at the Oceanic Institute. The recent opening of the Aloha Tower Marketplace Campus places HPU as a central part in the downtown Honolulu area, in the heart of the financial district, giving the students a direct access to companies for internships and project based studies. We offer waterfront housing to approximately 280 students as well as learning and campus-activity spaces. The latter includes a Student Learning Commons, Student-Faculty Lounge and three multi-purpose centers, subsequently creating a student environment conducive to learning in higher education.
