Callan School London, based on Oxford Street, is a well-established English language school, with capacity to welcome over 1,200 students each day. Our General English course is taught using the Callan Method, which is famous for the speed at which students learn to speak English. The classes are lively, fast and engaging, with students being totally immersed in the language. Students make progress each lesson with the introduction of new work, but they also systematically revise previous material so that it is consolidated. With 12 different stages on offer each hour, we cater for students of all abilities. To complement the Callan Method General English course, we offer conversation classes, idioms and phrasal verbs classes and writing and grammar classes. Students are able to choose the intensity of their study programme according to their personal learning requirements and circumstances. We teach Business English and preparation courses for the Cambridge, IELTS and Trinity exams, with 85% of our students passing their exam first time. One-to-one tuition is also available. The school runs an active social programme throughout the year, with many events focusing on English language and culture. The school welcomes both juniors (minimum age 14) and adults.
