VIA University College has campuses in Horsens, Aarhus, and Herning, Denmark. We offer a wide range of professional bachelor programmes in Construction, Engineering, Design and Business. Our study programmes are designed in close cooperation with industry partners and taught by highly qualified lecturers with professional experience - ensuring that curricula are based on the ever changing needs of a global world. The campus in Horsens is the largest with around 5000 students of whom approximately half are international coming from more than 50 different countries. Campus Aarhus is new (opened in 2015), with modern facilities and part of a busy social and academic student life in Aarhus. Campus Herning is located in one of the city's most inspirational buildings decorated by artists, surrounded by beautiful nature, museums and a sculpture park. All of our campuses have an active student life and excellent student support services. Our teaching style focuses on the student being responsible for his or her own education. We expect the students to participate actively in the lectures by asking thoughtful questions and by challenging themselves, other students as well as the lecturer, encouraging the exchange of ideas and knowledge.
