Quality Training & Hospitality College (QTHC) was formed in 1992 by the late Mr. Jim Finlayson. The college is now run and managed by his son, Mr. Richard Finlayson. Both Jim and Richard have owned and managed many successful hospitality establishments both overseas and in Australia and currently own and manage the multiple award winning Quality Catering, situated in the iconic Adelaide Zoo in South Australia. QTHC was recognised as the winner of the 2014 SA Training Awards, Large Training Provider of the Year. QTHC offers courses in commercial cookery, hospitality and management, from Cert III, Cert IV, Diploma and Advanced Diploma, to both domestic and international students. With campuses in Adelaide, Sydney and Queensland, over 80% of our students are domestic and we train in excess of 1,200 students each year. Due to the chronic shortages of hospitality staff, cooks and chefs, our students can easily gain employment through our Australia-wide hospitality jobs network, and a number of our students have recently been sponsored by their employers. Our head office is in Adelaide and our practical classes are taught at various hospitality venues including Adelaide Oval, Sprout Kitchen and Adelaide Zoo. In Sydney, our modern training kitchen is located in an inner city suburb of Surry Hills. We can also package our courses with English language colleges and universities.
