Macleay College is an Australian college that accepts international students. This means our international intake is capped at 25% of total students. It also means international students are in a truly local environment in mixed classes. Macleay College has been offering programs in Journalism, Business and Advertising for over 25 years with many of our graduates working in leading organisations in Australia and around the world. Our degree and diploma programs are industry-oriented courses designed to develop practical skills that prepare graduates for the workplace. Degrees can be done over 2 or 3 years. Diplomas can be done over 12 or 15 months. All of our international students do internships as part of their coursework, up to 200 hours per year of their course. Macleay helps to arrange these internships on our students' behalf. This is a formal part of the education experience and does not affect the students' right to work.
