Whitgift is an outstanding British private school, founded in 1600. Located in south London, it is set in 45 acres of beautiful parkland, with some of the finest facilities of any school in the UK. From July 2015, we will launch Whitgift Summer School, which will be open to boys and girls aged between 11 and 17. Our innovative English syllabus (23 hours per week) is designed to appeal to students of all abilities, who will learn in small groups (max. 15 students). Individual care is guaranteed, due to a staff-to-student ratio of approx. 1:5. We will offer the option to take recognised English exams. Careful consideration is given to the balance of participating nationalities. English children (pupils from Whitgift School) will also assist with all parts of the programme, giving a real purpose to the use of English. Whitgift’s superb facilities are utilised for an exciting and varied co-curricular programme. Students will stay on the Whitgift campus, in our state-of-the-art, new boarding house, which can accommodate 106 students (all rooms with en-suite bathrooms). Whitgift’s unique location on London’s doorstep provides easy access for trips to some of the world’s most important tourist sights.
