Sinclair Community College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association and is a member of the Ohio Association of Colleges. Sinclair Community College offers university parallel programs, which are associate degree programs that provide the first two years of a bachelor’s degree program. These university parallel or “2 + 2” programs are designed specifically for transfer to four-year institutions. Sinclair Community College offers university parallel programs in the following fields: Art, Biology, Business Administration, Chemistry, Communication, Creative Writing, Engineering, English, History, Mathematics, Modern Languages, Multimedia Journalism, Music, Political Science, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Theatre Performance, and Theatre Technology. In addition, Sinclair offers Associate of Applied Science programs, which are career programs designed to prepare students for a particular job.
